Discipleship Focus Adult Leaders!

I am pumped that you are coming with us on Sept 9 & 10. We always need adults to make our events successful, especially for Discipleship Focus. This weekend will rely heavily on small group sessions you will lead with our students. 
This page will be a source of info as we move forward. So please take a few minutes and look around. And please excuse any typos or grammatical mistakes. I'm not shooting for perfection here. 

What will our leaders be responsible for? While some leaders will be helping Mary Ellen in the kitchen exclusively, the rest of us will be busy building relationships with students and leading small groups. Our small groups are really the focal point of the entire weekend. These groups will consist of students from our cabin. We are still registering students, so we don't have them broken down into groups just yet. As leaders, you should be thinking about what age group you would like to have in your cabin and small group. Depending on how many students register, we will break down small groups based on gender and grade. It may be that we have 4 small groups (middle school girls, middle school guys, high school girls, high school guys). But it may be that we can break them down even further into grade and gender-specific groups. We should have a full roster of students shortly. 

How should leaders be preparing now? We should prepare by looking over the small group material. You can access the digital files on Google Drive with the link below. Pastor Kevin already has your paper copy in a folder and is ready for you. You can also begin preparing by praying for the leaders and students who have registered so far.
