ALIVE TO THRIVE
At FBC Sparta, we are a multigenerational faith family, which includes numerous senior adults. It is our conviction that this season of life is one of the most strategic times. We believe that it is not a time to retire from church life, but rather a time to invest more. We seek to provide opportunities for deep fellowship, meaningful experiences, spiritual growth and specific ministry mobilization.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

39er's
The 39er's “always have something going on!” This group of "perpetually 39-year olds,” enjoys year-round day trips (sometimes overnight), special programs, fellowship dinners, devotional times, and plenty of great fun and laughs.
widow's heart
This is a ministry that seeks to encourage, comfort and equip women who have suffered the death of a husband. On the first Tuesday of every month, this ministry gathers together at 2:00PM in the Worship House, to encourage one another. For more information, please contact the church office.
